G T Manlio Drugs, 7th and Carpenter Street, Bella Vista, South Philly.
This is one of my absolute favorite buildings in Philadelphia. It sits in the middle of Bella Vista which, I just found out, is the most searched Phillly neighborhood on Truila. The curved glass, bay windows and tile stoop…it would be one beautiful renovated building if someone did it with historical accuracy.
According to Hidden City Philadelphia:
It was originally G. T. Manlio Drugs, a pharmacy operated by Italian immigrant Gennaro Tito Manlio.
I really hope this one gets rescued one day.
